TCI Receives Contract for Spectrum Monitoring and Management Systems for Niger Ministere De La Privatisation Et La Restructuration Des Entreprises 

Fremont, CA - October 29, 2004

TCI has been awarded a $1.3 million contract to supply Niger with Spectrum Management and Monitoring systems. The contract includes TCI's Automated Spectrum Management Software (ASMS) and one TCI model 700 series Spectrum Monitoring system configured and installed in a Land Rover Defender. With funding provided by the World Bank, TCI will provide all software in French. The contract includes training and support and will be completed within 12 months.

The Ministere de la Privatisation et la Restructuration des Entreprises uses spectrum regulation and monitoring facilities to improve spectrum allocation efficiency, monitor spectrum usage and increase the market value of its national radio spectrum resources. TCI's ASMS management software will provide Niger with its first automated means to manage the growing demand for wireless spectrum resources.
