TCI International, Inc. Announces Improved Performance of its Model 745 and Model 725 Spectrum Monitoring Systems
FREMONT, CA – September 14, 2007
TCI International, Inc. announces enhanced performance capabilities for its Model 725 and 745 Spectrum Monitoring Systems (SMS), including: increased dynamic range; increased processing speed; and monitoring and DF on both horizontally- and vertically-polarized signals when coupled with TCI’s new Model 643 dual-polarized VHF/UHF antenna.
The Model 725 SMS, which began shipping in mid-2006, is a complete ITU-compliant SMS featuring a wideband (2 MHz), multi-channel architecture in a compact footprint. The Model 725 is capable of detecting weak signals in crowded RF environments and its small size, weight and power consumption make it ideal for mobile and transportable applications
The Model 745, which began shipping in early-2007, represents a significant advancement in the state of the art for spectrum monitoring systems with the ability to address all modern digital signals. The system combines a broadband, multichannel, client-server architecture with dual 20/2 MHz instantaneous bandwidths to provide superior spectrum monitoring and DF performance and multi-mission support in crowded and complex RF environments.
Both the Model 725 and Model 745 systems employ TCI’s Scorpio client-server architecture common to all 700 series of SMS, providing compatibility between TCI’s new and legacy Spectrum Monitoring Systems.
