Model 632F-1

Monopole Antenna

Product Description

The TCI Model 632 is a versatile 5-meter sleeve monopole antenna designed for use as a single-element, receive-only antenna or as part of a multi-element direction-finding (DF) array. It features a phase-matched balun and high sensitivity, ensuring excellent performance across the entire HF frequency range.

This antenna is available in two configurations: the 632F (fixed) and the 632D (deployable). The 632F includes a concrete installation kit, while the 632D comes with a stake and guy kit for easier deployment. Both versions comprise a sturdy base section, a multi-element fiberglass radiator assembly, and a ground-wire kit, offering robust and reliable performance in various setups.

When integrated into a DF antenna array, the Model 632 is compatible with interferometer and correlative interferometer HFDF systems. For TCI interferometer systems, the antennas can be arranged in flexible configurations, such as “X,” “L,” or “T,” using 7 or 9 antennas with baselines extending from 45 to over 90 meters. This adaptability allows users to tailor the setup to meet specific operational requirements.

For correlative interferometer HFDF systems, the Model 632 supports larger arrays, including 12-element circularly disposed antenna arrays (CDAA) with a 50-meter diameter and 24-element CDAA setups with a 100-meter diameter. These configurations are particularly effective for applications requiring precise and comprehensive signal detection.

The Model 632 stands out as a reliable and flexible solution for HF communications and DF tasks. Its durable design, deployment options, and high performance make it suitable for fixed installations and field operations, supporting a wide range of critical communication needs.
