The Blackbird COMINT 953 Receiver is TCI’s next generation solution for COMINT applications running TCI’s Blackbird RF signal search, collection, direction finding (DF), geolocation and processing software.
The Model 953 leverages TCI’s 50+ years of RF experience to improve on the current TCI 900-series COMINT platform, providing 80 MHz wide Instantaneous Bandwidth (IBW), faster DF and monitoring scan rates, and lower SWaP in a rugged IP67 portable packaged optimized for tactical applications.

The Tactical COMINT 953 RF Receiver is a sophisticated tool designed for intercepting and geolocating RF signals in diverse tactical scenarios. COMINT 953 RF Receiver – Signal Detection and DF
Model 953 RF Receiver searches, detects, intercepts and collects RF energy, and simultaneously DFs all signals in the bands of interest using fast stepping wideband receivers combined with FPGA-based DSP processing.
Interlinked fast scanning detection/DF displays combined with powerful signal isolation capabilities allows Realtime and post-mission analysis of detection and DF results on signals of interest.
